Ignite 2002

Ignite Poster Flare Dance Ensemble's inaugral dance production, Ignite 2002, marked the beginning of the club's journey. It was the first time that a dance company at Melbourne University had embarked on such a mission. With many of the dancers not having any previous experience, it was a great opportunity for them to gain exposure in the excitement of performing on stage.

Despite minor problems in co-ordinating the very first dance production, Ignite was a major success and really paved the way for aspiring performers to express themselves through the art of dance. The production showcased a variety of dance styles, which included jazz, hip hop, ethnic dance, contemporary and ballroom dancing.
