CK and Tira
Five production choreographers left to introduce and 7 days left until production! Time for me to speed up these updates. As such, here are two more production choreographers: Chun Kay and Tira.
CK started dancing at a NOT SO tender age of 16 years old. He pursued many styles and decided to make all of those genres his top favorites; each style has influenced his dancing very positively to where he is today. Tira started dancing when she was in diapers and has taken many exams across many styles namely hip hop, latin and ballroom. Today, she enjoys dancing, performing, competing and teaching dance.
CK and Tira first met when they were both asked to dance for a showcase piece by a mutual friend. They had an instant connection, it was magical and their relationship bloomed like a sunflower in mid summer’s day and decided to choreograph a Latin piece “Tripidio” (stupid name…no idea what we were thinking back then LOLS) together in 2013. One of our highlights for that year was PANICKING a week before production being fresh choreographers in Flare, it was FUN in HELL and here we are doing it again.
We challenged ourselves with a more difficult routine, more technical and visually awesome if we get this right. Our most treasured moments are our “meet ups” with a goal to choreograph but ended up doing everything else but that! It’s been a blast working with each and other and as much as we enjoyed putting this together, hopefully YOU will enjoy watching this piece at “BE”.
