Opening night is exactly 3 weeks from now! 3 weeks! and just like the 3 sided polyhedra commonly known as the household-triangle, our next production choreographer is sharp and to the 'pointe'. Infamous for her ruthless publicity tactics and gracing the stage with her first production piece (while holding the position of Flare President, might I add) is Naomi (a.k.a Namo).
Naomi began dancing in 2001 at the age of 6 at Seena Bird's Dance Starz Performing Arts. With a background in ballet, jazz, tap and acrobatics, the variety of genres offered by flare were very new but she has loved every moment.
This year is her first year choreographing and despite it being a big challenge, she has enjoyed working with both beginners and experienced ballet dancers. Naomi hopes to help ballet grow within Flare and to make all her past dance teachers proud.
Congratulations to those who managed to grab themselves 'noice' seats. It's still not too late to grab some equally-as-good seats so make sure you secure your tickets to watch this majestic unicorn prance across the stage.
Catch you all for choreographer(s) number 5 (and 6?) on Sunday!
Cocktail Night is this Friday!! Get your tickets here, or at Union House this Tues-Thurs from 12-2pm.
Nightmarket's also coming up this Thursday. Drop by Unimelb's Concrete Lawn and watch us perform at 8pm!
