More exciting news! Flare's annual Cocktail Night is almost here! This year, the theme will be "Pyjama Party" so make sure to come in all your fanciest sleepwear (there will be a costume competition, so go all out). We've got some amazing performances lined up for you all, so come down, give our dancers some support and enjoy a night full of great music, great people and great PJs!
You can purchase tickets at our stall outside Union House from 12:00PM - 2:00PM every Tues-Thurs until Cocktail Night. If you can't make it to the stall, you can also reserve tickets online by filling out this form (make sure to read the description for instructions):
We'll be holding a costume competition to determine the best dressed individuals on the night, so make sure to bring out all your sleepiest sleepwear!
There will be a charity raffle on the night with a MYSTERY PRIZE for the winners! All proceeds from the raffle will be going towards e.motion21, a not-for-profit organisation that provides dance and fitness programs for children and young adults in Australia with Down syndrome.

Note: this is a MEMBERS ONLY event, but if you're not a member yet, feel free to come sign-up on the day for $25.
With Welcome Week coming to a very successful end, we'd first of all like to extend a warm welcome to all our new members for 2017: Welcome to Flare! Of course, as with joining any club for the first time, it can be hard getting to know everyone, so we've decided to help out (as we do every year) by holding a little Welcome Picnic. There'll be food, activities and Flarians - all the things you'll need to get settled into the club - so come along and say hi!
And if you'd like watch some footage of our recent Welcome Week classes, head over to our Youtube channel.
O-Week is just around the corner, so start looking forward to two days of amazing performances and Flarians getting all up in your face about joining (sorry, they can't help it). But before we get into the details, we'd like to wish everyone a Happy New [Flare] Year. "Welcome back" to our old members and a "nice to meet you/hope to see you soon/welcome to the club" to all our potentially new members!
Now, onto the details...As always, we'll be having our special early-bird deal on membership for all those who sign-up at our stall during O-Week. So that's:
Throughout those two days, we'll be putting on a total of 6 performances around Uni just to showcase a little of what we do and we invite everyone (really, everyone, including all your family, friends and dog) to come down and check it out. Locations and times are outlined in the image attached to this post, but in case that doesn't show up, we'll also note down the performance times and locations below:
If you would like some more information about Flare membership, you can visit the Membership page. But apart from that, we look forward to seeing you all at O-Week!
