The Great Victorian Bike Ride

Time: 24-26 Nov: 3.30-5.30pm; 26 Nov: 2-4pm
After a small group of Flare dancers went as riders on the 2006 Great Victorian Bike Ride and won the talent night with a dance routine, Flare returns this year to hold dance workshops from Day 1-3 of the ride.
With 3800 riders this year from all ages and all walks of life, this event will give Flare a lot of exciting exposure and we look forward to continuing to embark on this annual event for years to come.

Flare Dance Camp

Date: Friday 3rd August - Sunday 5th August (that's 2nd weekend back of Semester 2)
Price: $75 (Early bird) / $80 (Deposit made after the 29th June, one week after exam period)
This year, we have bunkrooms of 6, each with their own shower, toilet, and TWO sinks. You won't ever need to fight for the bathroom, and each room is carpeted with concrete floor heating. This ain't no bootcamp, it's like a resort!
We will have registration forms brought to rehearsals and a deposit of $10 before the 29th July is required to catch the early bird special.
Please note that it is compulsory for all choreographers to attend this camp, and it is strongly encouraged for production dancers to come as well, as it is an extremely great opportunity to bond with your fellow dancers. Note that this camp is not limited to production dancers, and backstage crew and friends are welcome as well.

Come indulge yourself in fun, blasting R&B music and alcohol as we do what we enjoy most, dancing! Flare will be holding a clubbing night at Amber with a special entry fee of $16 instead of the usual $20. We are also entitled to a special drink list where we can purchase drinks cheaper.

Flare joins in on MUOSS's annual Nightmarket both selling food and entertaining the crowd. Flare's Food Stop was a success in selling corn, waffles and scrumptious century egg congee. Despite the rain, we still performed our new routines and sparked interests in many potentials in the crowd.

O-week has started! Flare will be having a table on the Thur 22nd and Fri 23rd of Feb
To existing members, come help out with the table as well as helping to get new members to join our group! Since all of you have managed to stay with us and gain fond memories, hopefully you guys can come down and persuade other people to join too!
This would also be a good time for all of us to meet up again after a really long break away from each other. I know we would have a really good time plus it would be nice for us to have supporters during our performances.
